SUNDAY, JUNE 8: FRENCH MARKET OPENS IN GLEN ELLYN 
Visit downtown Glen Ellyn this Sunday, June 8th  for the inaugural French Market.  The French Market will operate on Sundays from June to October, 9 am - 2 pm, on the west end of the Crescent / Glenwood parking lot. And after your fresh produce purchase, come on down the street to Marcel's to pick up some fresh recipe ideas or some fabulous new cookware. Marcel's is open every Sunday from noon to 5 pm.  Come see us!

SUNDAY, JUNE 15: FATHER'S DAY
Does Dad have enough ties and golf balls to last a lifetime?   Then  how about something that would really knock his socks off?  The Kamado Joe ceramic grill  is the ultimate "outdoor cooker" and allows dad to grill, smoke, roast or even bake by adjusting the air flow.  Marcel's has lots of suggestions for the dad that loves to cook or loves to eat or both!  
 
SATURDAY, JUNE 21:  INA PINKNEY COMES TO MARCEL'S
While the iconic Ina's Restaurant shut its doors on 12/31/2013, Ina'a culinary legacy is being preserved by owner Ina Pinkney in her new cookbook, TASTE MEMORIES;  RECIPES FOR LIFE AND BREAKFAST.  The "Breakfast Queen" will be at Marcel's from 1 - 2:30 pm to demo a fabulous recipe or two and sign copies of her cookbook. And did you hear what she said about Marcel's in her newsletter? "I will have decided there is a heaven if, when I get there, it looks like this store." We are swooning!!  This event is sold out but give us a call at 630-790-8500 and we will put you on the waiting list.
 
SUNDAY, JUNE 22, 1 - 5 PM:  THE MARKET AT MARCEL'S LAUNCH PARTY
