 Happy Independence Day! There's so much going on around town and in Marcel's. We start with the Re:new Project Shopping Night. It's a night to give back while shopping for one-of-a-kind handbags and accessories made by the women of Re:new, as well as many one-of-a-kind products from Marcel's. Make sure to read about it below and mark your calendar for this exclusive shopping night.
Jazz Up Glen Ellyn is back with live music and outdoor frolicking. This is sure to be an event you won't want to miss! And then we close out the month with the the annual Glen Ellyn Sidewalk Sale with deals, deals, and more deals to be had. Shop around town and discover all the great sales to be had. Sidewalk sale isn't the only time to find a deal, however. Our July food promotion is sure to help you take advantage of the season's best so make sure to stop in and pick up these pantry staples.

EVENTS & HAPPENINGS |
 Presented by the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn and the Village of Glen Ellyn, this annual event is a summertime highlight. Grab a few friends, some chairs, a picnic basket, bottles of your favorite beverages, and enjoy the night.
The event features:
- multiple Jazz acts playing continuously from 2 - 9:30 pm
- A festive atmosphere where you can bring in your own picnic (including adult beverages!), sit in the chairs provided or bring your own
- Want to get a beer or glass of wine from one of the establishments on the block (Main St between Penn and Crescent)? You can do that and bring it outside on the street! Can we recommend the outstanding selection at Marché?
- select Jazz ensembles will be playing in local restaurants after hours and several will be offering clinics during the day
- And the event is FREE!
