DECEMBER EVENTS & HAPPENINGS |
THURSDAY, DEC 6th (4 - 8 pm): HOLIDAY TREATS
 Sponsored by the downtown Glen Ellyn Alliance, this first ever Cookie Adventure will bring shopping and delicious treats together for a one of a kind event. Purchase a bucket for $35 and fill it with cookies from 17 downtown business, including Marcel's! All proceeds from the sale of the buckets will be donated to Metropolitan Family Services, a local charity represented by the resale shop in town, Treasure House. Only a limited number of buckets will be available for this event, so be sure to purchase yours in advance online, at Treasure House (497 Pennsylvania) or at M & Em’s Boutique (460 N. Main Street).
SATURDAY, DEC 8th (2 - 4 pm): STORIES WITH SANTA
Bring the whole family to Glen Ellyn's Fire Station #1 (on Pennsylvania Ave.) to have your picture taken with Santa and his live reindeer! Santa is making a special trip from the North Pole to hear all about your Christmas wish list. While you wait your turn on Santa’s lap, enjoy stories read by Glen Ellyn Public Library librarians.
