Summer is stone fruit season — and we couldn’t be more excited about it! We’re not sure that there’s anything better than biting into a juicy peach (or nectarine or plum or apricot) or popping a delightful cherry into our mouth. And while these fresh fruits are quite wonderful on their own, we also love all of the sweet and savory ways that they can be used in recipes. From breakfast to midnight snacks, we recommend incorporating these yummy fruits into everything possible to get the most out of this flavorful but short season!

Sweet, simple, savory and smoky. That’s how we would describe this delightful salad. The different elements come together quite wonderfully to provide a well-balanced dish. As with most stone fruit recipes, we highly recommend experimenting on the grill with whatever stone fruit you have handy! Want to turn it into a main dish? Add some grilled chicken or shrimp!

There’s nothing like a refreshing popsicle or a tall glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. Which is why we love the idea of combining the two for the ultimate refreshing treat that you can feel good about. These popsicles definitely do the trick to beat the heat!

Summer would not be summer with out some rustic fruit pies, crumbles and cobblers hitting the table. While we love all of the above, we specifically love this crumble for it’svlaid-back easy going nature. No fuss with pie crust —just a little chopping, a little stirring, a quick topping and you’ve got yourself a delicious summer dessert!
