This Week's Peachy News
New Year... New You... New Runs!
What's New?

It's a New Year, time when many people make resolutions to do things differently, or is it? Maybe we should look at this as a reboot, a way to get back into our routine, or recapture something we may have lost. Like the happy kids running in the picture above - they laced up their shoes and hit it with a sense of play. We think the perfect resolution for the new year is remember to run for the fun of it. Not every run or race needs to be a quest for a PR. Let's get out there and enjoy the scenery and the comraderie of a great run!
New Kicks

How old are your running shoes? If your shoes are celebrating an aniversary, it's probably time to start the new year with some new kicks. Maybe you just need a new pair of your favorote model, or maybe you'll want to try a new road or trail shoe.

The Adidas Ultra Boost just got an update. This neutral running shoe feels fast and comfortable. The boost™ technology offers energy-returning cushioning beneath your feet, a breathable Primeknit upper for a flexible and supportive fit, and a STRETCHWEB outsole for a smooth, neutral transition. Stop by and take a pair out for a spin.

Injury Prevention
Midtown - January 13, 6:30pm
Dr. Lamar Frasier, DPT and Dr. Brittany Moore, DPT of Georgia Sports Physical Therapy want to help you get to the start line, and more importantly, the finish line of your next race healthy and ready to go!  The clinic starts off with a talk about the benefits of strength training, circuit training, and how to train for power. Dr. Frasier will also discuss good posture (standing and sitting), and then we get up and move! After a dynamic warm up, we'll break into groups and do some foam roller and strength training exercises. (You'll want to dress for a workout.)
