A major bonus of working here is getting to sample all of our uniquely roasted coffees on a regular basis. With so many different options to explore, we thought we'd highlight a few staff favorites. With the amount of coffee they drink and the variety they get to taste, you'd be wise to give their favorites a try!
Beth's favorite is Grapos Co-op Mexico Chiapas which we have available in boxes as well as in bulk. For Beth, no coffee has a more perfectly balanced equation of toasted nuts and a touch of chocolate. This medium bodied coffee has a rich and present acidity.
Rachel loves our Biloya Ethiopia Yirgacheffe which is also available in boxes as well as bulk. Rachel enjoys the almost tea-like flavors of lemon and jasmine in this light bodied coffee with a bright and sweet acidity.
Bryan is crazy about our Rwanda Abakundakawa. "I get a lot of Maple Syrup flavor from this coffee and that is mainly what I like about it!" This is a medium bodied coffee with a sweet acidity level. And yes, this one is also available both as packaged or bulk.
For those of you feeling adventurous, remember that we serve a different coffee of the day at each location so you can sample through our varieties. You can also grab just a small portion of beans from our bulk wall to brew a sample at home - no need to commit to a full pound!
