How do I reuse email content?
There are three ways to reuse email content in NCR Customer Connect: Save current email content as a template to use in a new email, copy an existing template and make modifications, or re-send an existing email within a campaign.
 

Important Note: Verify the Sales Date Range, on Campaign/Step 8. When reusing an email or changing the template the sales date range may be populated with the original email values. Verifying the sales date range on Step 8 will ensure sales are attributed to the correct date range, for the email being sent. Click here for additional information about the sales dates range.

Save the email content as a template
1. On the Campaigns tab, find the email that you would like to use as your starting content for the new email.
2. Navigate to Step 6 Edit Content and click on Save As Template, located on the bottom left of the page.
3. Give the template a descriptive name and click SAVE.
4. After creating a new email campaign and navigating to Step 5 Select Template, choose My Templates and select the template saved.
5. Change any aspect of the email, as necessary to suit your needs and complete the campaign steps.

Copy an existing template and make modifications
1. On the Manage/Templates tab find a pre-loaded template (located under Template Library) or an existing template (located under My Templates) you'd like to use as your starting content.
2. Select Copy and give the template a new Template Name and select Save
3. Navigate to My Templates and select Edit on the new template saved in step 2.
4. Change any aspect of the email, as necessary to suit your needs and select Save My Changes when you're done. This template is now available on Step 5 of the campaign building process.

Resending an email from within the same campaign
If the open rates aren't what you expect, you may want to resend an existing email a second time. Sometimes sending an email on a different day of the week, changing the subject line or adding more recipients can help generate more interest. Here's how to do this:
1. On the Campaigns tab, find the email that you would like to resend.
2. Change any aspect of the email, as necessary to suit your needs.
3. Complete the remaining campaign steps to resend the email.
 
Note: These steps may be used only when Step 8, of the existing email, has the following option setup.
If Only once or No more often than once every _ days is setup, you must follow one of the other two methods listed above to create and send your email.
