Evaluate Your Campaign Effectiveness/Tips to Increase your Open Rate
Use this checklist to evaluate each email you send. This will help you determine their effect on your business. Use the Results tab to find the information that you need.

1. How much revenue was generated in Purchases by the campaign? By each email within the campaign? What tactics generate the highest revenues: Compelling subject line, targeting the recipient segment, including an offer?

2. How much revenue was generated by promotion or coupon Redeems? Are some offers more effective than others?

3. Review the number of Opens. How does the open rate of each email compare to each other? What do the emails with higher/lower open rates have in common?

4. Review the number of Clicks, Email Link Tracking & Social Media Engagement results. What can you change to increase the click rate? What products, offers, or links interest your customers the most?

5. Are a lot of people unsubscribing to emails? You may be over communicating or communicating to the wrong market.

6. What day or time seems to work best for my email campaigns? The day or time you send an email can affect both your open and click rates. Try different days and times to see which works best for you.

7. Look at the number of Bounced emails. Bounced means the email address no longer exists or is invalid. If the bounced number is high, you may want to review customer email addresses for malformed addresses. (Example: "@" or "." is missing or an incomplete email address was entered). Ask your cashiers to confirm a customers email address during each sale.

8. Verify the important content is in the top third of your email. People normally preview the email before choosing to open or ignore it.
