Using Social Media "Follow", "Share", & "Like" Options

Overview | Setup Follow, Share & Like Options | Turn On Share & Like | Choose Image SharedTurn On Follow

The internet provides people a place to share information and to build social and business connections. Organizations have started to use social media marketing to attract the attention of their customers and encourage them to share it with their social networks. A message can be spread from user to user creating a feeling that the message is coming from a trusted source. Social media marketing is a relatively inexpensive platform for organizations to implement.

Overview of "Follow", "Share" & "Like"

Follow gives you the ability to attach your business facing social media account to your email. This provides the customer a way to follow your business. Businesses who would like to utilize the "Follow" option should consider creating a business facing social media account. If you choose to create one, do some research first to see what type of information to include on your page.

Share provides your customers the ability to post your email on their personal social media page (their Facebook wall), which is shared with their network of friends. This gives you the opportunity to market to a larger group of people and can assist with growing your customer base. Any business can start using this option immediately.

Important Note: If your email includes any coupons or discounts, make sure to review Protect Your Business! Coupons, Discounts & Rewards via email, before sending your email.

Like provides your customers the ability to like an email from your business. When a customer "likes" the email, it is posted on their personal social media page (Facebook wall), which is seen by their network of friends.  It can then be liked by their friends too.
